Our Story

Poofie was born from a personal need — and a desire to do things differently.

In the spring of 2024, our Maltese, Sushi, joined our family. What should have been a joyful preparation quickly became overwhelming. Finding the right essentials wasn’t simple — and for small breeds, the options felt especially limited. Most products were overly bright, plastic-heavy, or simply not designed with smaller dogs in mind.

We were looking for something else entirely — pieces that felt calm, considered, and beautifully suited to a modern home.

When we couldn’t find it, we created it.

Poofie is built on the idea that pet essentials can be both functional and refined. We focus on carefully curated products in soft, natural tones — designed to blend seamlessly into your space while meeting the everyday needs of small dogs.

Since then, our family has grown with our toy poodle, Nori. Alongside Poofie, we are also a small home kennel, where Maltipoos are raised with love, care, and attention.

As new puppy owners began asking us what they truly need before bringing a dog home, the idea became even clearer.
